... used within 14 months. The product itself is a light, soft peachy-pink coloured cream, with a floral scent, but predominantly lavender, from what I can pick out. You only need a tiny amount, and it sinks into the skin easily, moisturising dry areas, leaving them soft and I can feel it balancing out my shiny t zone area. It leaves my skin soft and smooth, ready for make up if I am doing it. I find this fine for day time moisturiser, but, as I am now over 40 I think I need a bit more help with the wrinkle departm...more

Premium Review Lush Imperialis Cream: A good cream, but not Great (253 words)

I have quite oily, spot prone skin but oil free mousturisers such as clean and clear tend to dry my skin out too much if I use them twice a day. So I decided to try this cream, as a heavier overnight mousturiser. I sent off for it from the Lush Website & it arrived promptly. The packaging is quite basic - a black plastic tub with the name and ammount of cream written on the front. The first thing you notice when you open the tub is the amazing smell! This is literally the BEST smelling facial mousturiser I have ever used - floral and citrusey but not too overpowering. It is also an attractive pale pink color. I washed my face, and applied as usual. At ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The imperial tiger lily of face creams! (605 words)

I'm keen to try and use natural cosmetics and beauty products so when my previous face cream ran out, I wanted to try a Lush moisturiser as I'm a huge Lush fan anyway. My skin is what would probably be described as normal - not too greasy although I get occasional spots and greasy patches round my nose, and not too dry although I get dry patches in the winter sometimes. When I explained this to the girl in the shop, she recommended that I try Imperialis. ++THE PRODUCT++ Imperialis is quite thick and appears rich. I expect a tub to last me a while as I only need a small amount. The cream is a pale pink colour so I imagined it would be rose scented, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Imperialis Cream: A Right Royal Tub of Goodness (261 words)

As part of my 'Lets try Lush facial skincare regime' mission I embarked upon, I was recommended Imperialis by the lovely sales assistant, to help my 40 odd year old, combination skin. For £10.48 for 45g of product, this seemed like fairly good value for me - considering what I would normally pay, and have paid in the past for premium skincare - I actually got the whole regime, cleanser, toner and moisturiser for around the price of what I paid for my last moisturiser! Again, Lush makes the products fresh and should be used within 14 months. The product itself is a light, soft peachy-pink coloured cream, with a floral scent, but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review GREAT MOISTURISER! (277 words)

I myself have mainly teenage type skin (oily/spotty) that is very sensitive and can get dry patches in winter. I used to use Celestial but after finding it made the dry patches worse and my t zone REALLY oily i decided to try out Imperialis. I love the simplicity of the black pots with what that specific product is used for and the ingriedients- i don't like a lot of packaging. I also always like to look at the sticker saying who made the product in any pot i buy! Anyway, opened up the pot to find a reasonably normal lookign pink substance which had a lovely floral smell to it which didnt smell too strong either. Asmoisturisers scare me from having oily skin i dabbed a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Imperialis Cream: best to have for combination skin (719 words)

Hello - Well after reading all these Lush products reviews I was a bit surprised that Imperialis has not been reviewed yet. So here we go: I have combination skin. I don't get many spots, but every morning my T-zone is really really oily. I have tried several moisturising recommended for my skin type with little benefits. All the moisturisers I have tried before did one of the following: forms a film on my face without actually moisturising, leaves my cheeks dry or blokes my pores on my T-zone, or a combination of these. I gave up trying and started mix-and-matching moisturisers (I travel a lot with work so my cosmetics bag is always adding weight. ...  Read the complete review
