I bought one of these Lush king of skin body butter bars and mine is actually in the crown shape. I'm not sure if that's the case with all of the shops but I thought this was very cute. They're currently available from Lush online and in stores for £6.36 which I at first thought was quite pricey but now that I've started using mine, I found out that a little goes a long way and you don't need a heavy hand or to do it under hot running shower or bath water which could contribute to it melting away so easily. This bar is one of Lush's body butters but the only one out of the 5 that doesn't have exfoliating ingredients in it and that you need to use whilst ... Read the complete review

I bought a Lush King of Skin bar at the height of my Lush habit, but have only used it in the last few weeks. I bought the square bar which fits into one of Lush's body butter tins, but in the last edition of the Lush times it showed that the shape is changing, and it will soon be available in a crown shaped bar. Whilst I think that is a great idea, it doesn't look as though it would fit into the Lush tins any more, which I think I would find quite annoying and inconvenient. I'll be honest, when I bought this, I didn't really understand what it was for! That's how mad my Lush obsession got! I had already bought Buffy and Running to the Embassy, ... As your probably aware by now I am firmly inducted into the Lushoholics club and have in the last month or 2 spent an absolute fortune in various Lush shops. Now I can honestly say I'd never heard of, let alone used a Body Butter before a recent visit to Lush, however I did pick up a Lush King of Skin body butter on a recent visit. It acts a little bit like a moisturiser for your skin with the slight difference being that you don't apply it after your shower or bath but rather during. Now like the last Lush product i reviewed, Lush sandstone, the picture for the King of Skin looks nothing like the product actually does now. The crown has gone and been replaced ... I regularly shop in Lush, preferring the idea of shopping for natural products without all the packaging. I mainly go for the cleansers, but from time to time I like to indulge and this is one such product where you can really indulge! What it is The King Of Skin is a body butter, you use them once you have had your normal wash. Smear it over the skin then rinse off as normal. It leaves the skin feeling really smooth and smelling superb. The smell I always find this one makes mewant to bite in and eat it. It isn't so much chocolate in smell, but there is a definite sweet smell to it, an underlying sugary scent which smells ... Read the complete review

King of Skin is another of my must have lush products - it's a solid body moisturiser which used to be moulded into the shape crown, in order to justify the name, LOL, but now is a square block, which resembles buffy the backside slayer, if you can't find it in the shop. It costs £3.95 for the 90g block. It seems expensive, but has lasted me 2 months so far and I'm only just half way through it, so it's really quite cheap. The scent is basically the buffy the backside slayer scent - although the recipie list includes banana, coconut and lavender, none of those are particularly strong - it smells a little like coco butter, or a warm bowl of porridge! It lingers ... Read the complete review
