... sometimes be an issue with balms in tubs. I do really like the smell of this product and will keep buying it for that reason - I might also email Lush suggesting they amend the packaging! If you like soft and moisturised lips and sweet smelling lip balms, then this product could definitely be for you, have a look in store or on their site above to order. 4 stars from me, simply due to the packaging....more

I have been writing lots of reviews recentley on Lush products as I have been shopping there for a few years now and believe that they deserve some reviews! I got this lip balm around christmas because of the name and smell making me feel all christmassy! I love this as unlike some other lip balms I have used this one actually works to soothe and moisturises your lips! What is it? Well it is basically what it says it is. A lip balm in 'LET THEM EAT CAKE' flavour. It is not to be mistaken for solid lip glosses which I know that a few people have done. Where can you buy it? As it is a Lush product it is only purchasable ...  Read the complete review

I received a Let Them Eat Cake lip balm as a Christmas gift, however, I already had one Lush lip balm on the go, so I put it into the cardboard box with the rest of of my Lush "stash" to use when I had run out of the other product. However, a couple of months ago now, Lip Squeak was discontinued, and as I loved that product so much I decided to put it into the stash and bring out my Let Them Eat Cake to use instead. LTEC comes in a little round tin, smaller than the tins or jars for a lot of other lip balms on the market. It has a sticker on both sides, on top is the name of the product, what it is, and the Lush logo, on the reverse is the ...  Read the complete review

It was my birthday a few weeks ago, and my lovely fiancé surprised me with a collection of wonderful Lush products. I really love Lush but, though I often go in for a smell and a dream, I can rarely afford the high prices. Having already reviewed the Fair Trade Foot Lotion and The Happy Pill, I am now reviewing a lip balm called 'Let Them Eat Cake' which I believe is a Christmas-season-only product. Like most people at this time of year, I suffer with cracked and chapped lips. To be honest, I am afflicted most of the year if I do not coat my lips in some kind of lip balm or another. In addition, I just love lip balm and don't think it is possible to have ...  Read the complete review

I'm always forgetful when it comes to remembering to apply my lip balms. I always seem to just end up collecting them in my hand bag and forgetting about them. This is probably why I often end up with dry lips! However this Lush lip balm is one I don't forget, and often sits on my desk at work. But what's so special about this one? This Lip Balm has the name of 'Let Them Eat Cake' and was part of Lush's Christmas range. This makes it hard to get during the year (unless you hunt on eBay!). I got this lip balm in a £5 grabbit bag, with a ton of other Lush products. Not bad considering this lip balm costs over £4! The Use By date isn't until December ...  Read the complete review
