Disadvantages: overpowering smell, heavy product

I received this as part of a gift at Christmas - being a big Lush fan (and Christmas Cake) I thought, what could be better, Lush and Christmas Cake!
Unfortunately when I opened the tin I was hit by a strong smell of, to me burnt sugar and brandy, not entirely pleasant and not really the best thing to have lingering about under your nose all day. remembering though that I should try before deciding its fate I used it.
The texture was not as moisturising I felt as other Lush lip balms, this felt greasy and heavy, and was not going anywhere. It just lay on top off my lips and wafted the unpleasant burnt sugar/alcohol smell up my nose constantly, which eventually, I found too overpowering as it was beginning to make me feel quite ill. I have since given it to one of my friends to try, who absolutely loves it! It must be one of those things, but unfortunately not for me.

Summary: Sorry Lush - not for me :-(
