Oooh it is coming up to Christmas and that means that (hopefully!) Mr Siamese will buy me more of this delicious lip balm (currently retailing in store and online for £4.63. This balm comes in little metal 10g tubs.

This lip balm is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

I shop online and go to my local store (address above) but the benefit of going to stores is that you can often try the products before buying. It also means that you can smell things to see which one you like the scent of most. (If you do purchase online, the orders tend to arrive within 3 or 4 days and are all packed in popcorn instead of polystyrene and therefore better for the environment).

This balm is so great because it smells like freshly baked cake (the only problem is that you tend to find yourself licking your lips more because the smell is so mouth watering) though it doesn't really taste of it which is a shame. In fact, it just tastes of lip balm, so if they could make it taste great too, it would be outstanding!

It keeps your lips really soft and moisturised, which is especially useful now that the weather is cold. You don't have to reapply it too often (unless of course, you lick it off!!) so it lasts well, despite being quite a small tin. It also adds a slight shine to your lips, and helps to prevent chapping.

I do think that this product could be improved by different packaging, simply because I don't think it is particularly hygienic to keep dipping your finger in when you are applying the balm. It might be better to have it in a little tube. This would also help to prevent it from drying out which can sometimes be an issue with balms in tubs.

I do really like the smell of this product and will keep buying it for that reason - I might also email Lush suggesting they amend the packaging!

If you like soft and moisturised lips and sweet smelling lip balms, then this product could definitely be for you, have a look in store or on their site above to order. 4 stars from me, simply due to the packaging.

Summary: Well worth trying
