Lip glosses, lip balms, chapsticks you name it I’ve got it. If there is one thing I seem to unknowingly collect or want to try out when they are new to the market it is lip balms. Why? Well peoples lips and mouths for me are one of the first things that I notice because lips play an important role in speaking, they help to form facial expressions, you need them to help drink and they are vital for kissing which can be anything from a peck on the cheek to a full blown tongue kiss. For me there is nothing worse than someone having dry, sore, cracked and chapped lips with flaky bits of skin hanging off them. There is no need and it certainly doesn’t give a ... I'm a lush addict - the store in Nottingham can be smelt streets away, and on the odd occasion when I have a bit of spare cash with which to treat myself, its one of the shops I often visit. With winter coming soon, I know that any time soon my lips will begin to dry out and crack, so it was time to get stocked up with some new Lip Balm! What more excuse than that could I need to go and spend a little bit of money in Lush ? **A Little About Lush** Well, to be honest, I don't need to make any excuses - if you're a Lush fan already, you'll already know about Lush's great ethics - for those not familiar with Lush products, the copmpany were ... Every woman loves a good lip balm. It is an essential part of the daily routine. To keep your lips chap free and soft. I hate it when you've gone through the winter and your lips end up dry and sore. Im always partial to the usual tin of vaseline which does a pretty standard job but I have to say the lip balm I have always had in my bag is Lush's lip service. Now this is going to be quite a lengthy review so you have been warned!! I am reviewing the old and new Lip Service as it has been changed!! So please stop reading now if you don't want to read!!!! Until late 2004, Lush's Lip Balms (at that time being limited to Lip Service and Lite Lip) ... Read the complete review

I’ve always been one of those girls who always carry a tin of Vaseline everywhere they go, as I tend to suffer from dry lips. But a few years ago I found that my trust Vaseline just didn’t cut it anymore and I went in search of a replacement lip balm. When I first saw Lush’s Lip Service I was distinctly unimpressed. It comes in a tiny 12g pot with a screw top black lid. Yes, it’s one of those annoying ‘dip your finger in me’ lip balms! And the colour is very strange for a lip balm- a kind of milk-like cream which would look pretty weird on your lips! But those lovely people at Lush convinced me to try it and I’m ... My lips were in desperate need of some T.L.C. especially after the recent cold snap and the central heating being on to the max. Whilst on a recent visit to Lush I saw that they did a range of lip balms. I decided to pick up on that was called 'Lip service" as this is exactly what my lips needed. It was described as leaves lips feeling soft and silky. The lip balm is packaged in a very nice silver pot. When you first open the balm you get a lovely waft of the balm. This balm contains cocoa butter which is well known for its moisturising properties. It also contains tangerine, apricot and lemon oils. The balm is a lovely consistancy and is ...
