Advantages: Natural ingredients

Disadvantages: Price

No matter how well this product might or might not work its main prolem is its price compared with other options, as it is it does not justify the high price tag of £3.50 when you compare it with lip balms for half that price that do just as good a job.

This lush lip balm uses a combination of natural products like plant mallow and beeswax and it is designed to protect your lips against the cold and wind and leave them nice and soft. Ideal I guess for all those campaigners funded by the Lush owner who sat out on that cold runway last week and disruped all the flights at Stanstead.

The balm itself comes in a small pot with a screw lid and is an off white colour which shows that it is not a consistent synthetic product, the smell is rather hard to describe, in fact it smells of nothing in particular and is almost odourless, at a push I would say there is a slight floral trace to it.

It provides good coveridge and it certainly does an ok job however it is nothing special, it protecte my lips but then loads of other products do just as good a job, I guess the only real reason to buy this product is if you want the natural ingredients and are prepared to pay the extra to buy a Lush product otherwise it has nothing special to offer.

Summary: Lip balm

It costs £4.40 these days and comes in a little tin - I bought some last week in Edinburgh! LOL! Susan

It would be good to know how long one application lasts as a clearer and closer definition as to how good this is- compared to ordinary non natural lip balms.
