I made a special visit to Lush because I'd heard good things about Oatifix, the latest addition to their range of fresh face masks. I was lucky to be able to get it as part of the Lush 'eight items for £10' Freshers box which was being promoted instore during my visit. Lush is the only place I know of that sells fresh face masks. That does mean they only last a few weeks and you have to keep them in the fridge, but the short lifespan means you are less likely to forget about using them, so I think they are well worth it. Oatifix contains oats and bananas, which both make regular appearances on 'superfood' lists. Bananas are good for energy and have ... Read the complete review

When I went into Lush at the weekend the lady asked if I wanted a sample of one of the fresh face masks and I asked for the Oatifix one because I'd just brought a pot of my fave Cupcake mask. This one is very sweet smelling, I can smell banana in it and a nice oaty smell comes out and I think I can smell vanilla as well but this comes through more when the face mask is on and not from the pot. It feels a bit gritty when you put it on but that doesn't feel bad and even though you can't see actual oats in it you know the small BITS in the mask are the fine oats it mentions on the pot. It goes on nice but I think you are forced to put it on a bit ... Read the complete review

I finally got a chance to try this Lush face mask as I've brought back 5 of my empty containers for their recycling program. I had a little read and tried a few of the ones I thought I might like but this face mask seemed to suit my skin the best as I've got quite dry and sensitive skin. So, their face masks are all freshly made, they need to be stored in the fridge as they will spoil if you just leave them at room temperature and they do expire in 3 to 4 weeks so do use them at lease every week if not twice a week to not waste any product. As it's been stored in the fridge, it's very cooling when you apply it to your skin. I find that this helps ... Read the complete review

I visited my local Lush branch last week in search of a fresh face mask to sort out my tired looking skin. I do use their products fairly regularly, but it had been some weeks since I'd used a fresh mask and my face felt like it could do with a treat. I went towards the end of the day and was pleasantly surprised that they still had a full range of fresh masks, although this did make my job of deciding which one to take home a little more difficult! The lady working there suggested trying their most recent conconction -oatifix. She said it was deeply moisturising and particularly suited to dry and sensitive skin. For those of you who haven't tried Lush's ... Read the complete review

Time for another Lush review from me! Again, this is for a sample product I received the other day with a huge purchase. I'd heard a little bit about this product and had given it a sniff in the store a few times (and wanted to eat it directly afterwards!), but never bought it as I tend to stick to my Lush shopping lists so I was really glad to get a sample of it. Oatifix Fresh Face Mask is exactly what the title says - a fresh face mask. Anyone who has tried Lush fresh face masks will know that they are extremely great for your skin if you use the correct one for your skin type. They are all made from 100& fresh products, therefore have have a short life ... Read the complete review
