I received this as a birthday present from my daughter. She often gets me a little Lush something-or-other because she correctly gauges that I do not go into the shop much - but I like the stuff in the shop. I expect that I am not unlike many other mothers who have put some self indulgence on the backburner - choosing instead to buy the 40p vegetable based supermarket soap rather than the deliciously fragranced and interesting looking chunk of the beautiful Lush soap. My concerns are primarily with the mortgage. I think about it and feel a bit sad sometimes. This is why I love it when my daughter buys me some Lush soap. It is an act of ... Read the complete review

For a long time I hated anything lavender scented, but I've started to warm to the fragrance and have begun to use a few lavender scented products. One of these products is Lush's Ooh La La Soap. I have bought quite a few Lush soaps online, going from only the description, and found that they didn't quite live up to expectations when they arrived. Due to it's lavender content, this is not one I would have considered having just read about it on the website, but when I smelled it in the shop I adored it immediately, so treated myself to a chunk. I happened to write quite a few reviews yesterday purely through boredom! I'm not very well at the moment and unfortunatel spent the whole day in bed with a nasty cold and a hot water bottle! My boyfriend decided to camp downstairs whilst I was all the way up on the top floor (we live in a 3 storey house!!) so he was well out the way! However he did nip out to the local Lush store and even though he can't actually stand the smell inside he bought me two bars of this Ooh La La Soap! I always use this soap when I'm feeling down and need a pick me up. Fortunately he knew this so he knew exactly what he was getting! I've used Ohh La La for at least a ... Read the complete review

This one has to be one of my favourite Lush soaps. There's something about it that's a little bit decadent, that makes having a shower a luxurious experience. It's smells of lavender but there are also subtle hints of honeysuckle, rosemary, grape and thyme in there. It's really rich and foamy to use and makes the whole bathroom smell delicious. The rapeseed, sunflower, coconut, thyme, rosemary and lavender oils all make it really kind to the skin. I've got quite dry, sensitive skin, but this one is gentle and rich to use, without causing any skin irritation. I used to use a lot of body lotion, but since I've been using Lush soaps I haven't needed to use ... Read the complete review
