Advantages: Smells nice

Disadvantages: Useless as a shaving cream!

Lush advertise as being all natural or as close as dependent on the product you are buying, they also claim to have really good shaving products for both men and women, now not being a woman I cannot speak for their feminine products but what I can speak for is their "Prince Shaving Cream".

I have to say this is one of the biggest money making rackets I have ever had the misfortune of falling victim to. This was the worst shave I have ever experienced, and I've shaved dry. The blurb on the tub reads "Conquer your stubble with our ultra-smoothing, extra-soothing orange, mandarin and neroli shaving cream". Terry Pratchett would have trouble writing a more comically false blurb. This is without a doubt a less useful lubricant for shaving than if I was to shave with sand and with a blunt razor.

I had to use a 5th of a tub just go cover my face and neck enough to shave without ripping off my skin as it is actually a cream as opposed to a foam or soap. And considering its around £8 per 100g tub then I had to pay £1.60 for one shave. To be honest if I'm going to pay that kind of money per shave I'd rather do it once a week and go to a professional barber.

The only good thing about shaving with Lush "Prince Shaving Cream" is that, eventually, your done using it and can go and put on some form of moisturiser to make the pain go away, which if you've been in Lush will probably be their surprisingly good "Cosmetic Lad" moisturiser.

So if you have to buy something in Lush and you are a bloke who shaves, dodge the shaving cream and buy a regular tin in Tescos, and go for the moisturiser if you get razor burn like me...or else buy something for someone else (treat for the missus always goes down well) cause this is one you will definitely want to miss.

Summary: Don't waste your money.
