A 100g bar of this soap will cost you £3.43 and is only available from www.lush.co.uk Overall this was OK, if you ignore the fact that it leaves a slightly tight feeling to the skin immediately after use, it's a perfectly adequate facial soap. It does smell lovely too, but overall, I don't think I'm converted to using soap on my face, and I wouldn't buy this again....more

We're always being told how bad it is for your skin to use soap on your face as it's so drying, so when I saw Lush's Queen of Hearts soap advertised online as part of their Retro range, I was intrigued. Lush say that this is their only soap designed specifically for use on the face, as it is so gentle. The soap contains rose petal infusion, sweet almond oil, geranium oil, violet absolute as well as vanilla pod infusion and cocoa butter. As I'm sure you can imagine, this gives it a very floral, sweet, yet gentle scent, with the predominant fragrance being the rose. Picture the scene... Early morning,enter the bathroom and wash your face.Now for me,using the house favourite (Imperial Leather) and emerging from the bathroom with flaky skin and a face feeling taut like stretched canvas was a daily washing occurence.Not much fun,I bet you're thinking,well I found a way round this...
