Advantages: It smells soooo nice. It's a lovely girly pink colour.

Disadvantages: Lush only bring it out at Christmas!

I'd heard of the Lush Snow Fariy shower gel talked about before, it seemed to get alot of hype. It's only available at Christmas so last Christmas when I was in Lush I saw this and remembered all the great reviews it recieves, so I bought a bottle of it (amongst other things of course!)

As previously mentioned, this is a limited edition product which only comes out at Christmas, and you'll never find it in Lush's famous Christmas sales because it's certain to sell out.

The shower gel itself is a lovely girly pink colour. It comes in the standard bottle that all Lush shower gels come in. The bale states it's a shower gel for body AND hair. It's described as 'Candy Floss pink and sweet as sugar. With iridescent sparkles and a hint of wicked fruitness.' I'm not one for glittery products, however the 'sparkles' in Snow Fairy aren't too noticeable at all.

Now onto my most favourite thing about this shower gel.... the smell. I honestly fell in love with the smell of this shower gel the instant I squeezed some out of the bottle. It's such a sweet candy floss smell, like being in a sweet shop, but it's not over powering or sickly at all! I'm not usually one for sweety smells but this shower gel is gorgeous. It 's easy to squeeze out of the bottle, and it lathers really well. Skin smells wonderful after washing with this, as well as being nice and soft.

They say this shower gel is for body and hair, but I wasn't keen on the idea of using this as just my usual shampoo. I did however shampoo as usual and then apply some to my hair. It was lovely to have that faint smell in my hair all day, so I love to apply a bit every now and then to my hair. It doesn't dry your hair out or anything, so that's obviously a good point.

Concerning the sparkle, when looking closely at the product in the bottle I do catch slight hints of a purpley-blue colour every so often, but this isn't noticeable once you start washing yourself with the shower gel. It doesn't bother me at all though as I wouldn't like to have bits of 'glitter' stuck to me.

If you want to give this a try you'll have to hunt it down on eBay. I know alot of people stock up on this at Christmas to see them through the year, I may just have to do this myself this year!

Summary: A gorgeous smelling shower gel, which isn't half bad on your hair either!

Couldn't agree more, I LOVE Snow Fairy and I am one of those people you mention that stocks up on it although my stash is disappearing fast as my daughter has discovered how great it is too lol

I save my bottle of Snow Fairy for special occasions, or when I want to cheer myself up. I'd love this as a solid perfume though. The Godmother soap has a similar fragrance though.
