Advantages: Great scent, easy to use, reasonable price.

Disadvantages: Not available all year round (from what I can see anyway).

I picked up a 100ml bottle of Lush Snow Fairy Shower gel on a Christmas visit to Lush (don't you just love Lush!) and have only just got around to trying it out now.

This shower gel is provided in a see through plastic bottle with a black flip-top lid, like most Lush shower gels. I find that these bottles are pretty hard to get the product out of and you have to give them a really hard squeeze once you get near the end of the bottle or even add a little water to do it make the shower gel come out a little easier and just pour it all over my shower puff.

You can use this as a shower gel or as a shampoo and I did find that it was perfectly adequate to use as a shampoo and it made my hair smell pretty nice and gave it a good shine.

Snow Fairy is quite thick and looks almost like a strawberry smoothie and you can see sparkly bits within the gel.

To use the gel I add a generous squirt to my shower puff and then give it a good rub to help build up the lather. The product does lather quite well, not as much as I'd ideally like but pretty good for the amount used. This does give me lovely smooth skin and it has a very candy sweet scent to it that's just gorgeous and my fiancé noticed that I had used something new as well.

The smell lasted in the bathroom for quite a while and lingered around on my skin for hours which was fantastic as it's one of the things I love about Lush products.

I believe I paid around £3.00 for this and you may have to wait a couple more months before you begin to see this in Lush shops again.

If you've left this sitting around for a while (as I have) then give it a good firm shake before use so all the ingredients mix back together.

I would definitely recommend this product, it's got a good scent, lathers pretty well, looks pretty and makes your skin feel lovely and smooth as well as giving it a light coating of glitter which'll make you glow a little under lighting!

I am rating this shower gel 5/5 as it's just delicious and works very well as well as coming in a recyclable bottle.

Summary: A great product that cleans well and smells great.
