I can't believe I haven't written a review for this after I have been using it for nearly a year. Firstly I will say, if you want it, buy it now! It is being discontinued, but it's still available on the website. I have got 5 now to last me a few months!

Sweet Japanese Girl is a cleanser bar made my Lush. It costs £4.84 and it's vegan. The main ingredient is cocoa butter with other important ones being ground almonds and tea tree oil. It is shaped like a face, flat on the back and rounded on the front and it's about the size of half a small fist.

The way you use this is to get it wet and then rub it all over your face. The dround almonds and adouki beans mean you get a gentle exfoliation at the same time and the cocoa and shea butter provide a very moisturising cleanse. After this, you need to rinse your face with water. As there is so much 'butter' in it you can look a little greasy, but if you use a toner then the surface shine is taken away straight away. This leaves you with extremely soft and smooth skin.

I find this cleanser particularly good for blackheads and slightly congested skin ( if you have large skin problems other cleansers could help more). The tea tree oil helps to prevent the spots without drying skin out too much and the butters moisturise so well that it's not necessary to use a moisturiser afterwards.

Each bar lasts me around 3 weeks if I use it morning and night but I could probably get the same effects by just using it in the morning, so in my eyes it's very good value for money, especially considering the great effects it's had on my skin.

Before I used this bar my skin looked dull and I had a fair few blackhead but after using this for a week, ALL my blackheads had gone, my skin was so much softer and as a result my make up went on much better.

I don't know what i'd do without this now!
