This young lady is a total life saver. I am so, so gutted that it has been discountinued...so gutted that I bought 7 of them. :)

Sweet Japanese Girl is a wonderful little lady based on old traditional style Japanese sweetie moulds, hence the name. She is a facial massage bar, completely natural and with no preservatives or packaging, which it just precious.

She contains beautiful natural ingredients, such as cocoa and shea butters to soften, moisturise and smooth the skin, ground aduki beans to exfoliate, lemon and tea tree oils to kill spots and juniperberry to detoxify. All this for only £4.84...what? And it lasts for ages!!! Why are they getting rid of it?!

The idea with a facial massgae bar is to obviously massage your facial skin, which will really help the blood to come to the surface, meaning nasty impurities and blocked pores are sorted out and cleared in a jiffy. Your skin may appear a tad red after use, but this honestly does just mean it is working. Your skin will be so mega smoothed and feel so looked after once you have used it.

SJP is suitable for use about 3 or 4 times a week, any more and it can have the opposite effect- spots and irritation. This is only because it is such a deep cleanser, it will start removing all the good oils that your skin naturally produces. So instead, use things like BabyFace or Ultra Bland from Lush on the days you dont use the girl.

To use it by the way, there are a few options; you can either rub her directly onto your face, or rub her between your hands to get the butters melting to apply to the skin and start that massage. I always apply it directly onto my face, and take my make up off with it using dampened cotton wool pads. (I always spray my cotton pads with Lush toner instead of boring old water to remove SJP so I cleanse tone and moisturise all in one, saving precious sleep time!!)

Please go and buy a few before they all sell out, they work so well, and have all the natural properties you could possibly wish for in a facial massage bar. Man, I'm going to miss it...
