Advantages: Makes skin fresh. sorts out very troubled skin, cheap

Disadvantages: Doesn't do a lot, boring to do and slightly uncomfortable

After trying to sort out my skin (and being successful) with Lush cleanser and moisturiser i decided i needed that extra...somethingto refresh my skin. My experience with toners have not been good so i veered away from the liquid toners in Lush. These came out soon after and i decided to give them a try. As neither of the other two seemed right for my skin i brought one of these home.

Looks- Well looks like a skin product really. They wrap it up so it looks like a tiny package-quite cute really! The 'T' makes sure you knwo which tab it is.

Price- for 73p that is quite good for what you get. I myself wouldn't buy the 7 pack as i wouldn't use them often enough

How to use- Having never used anything like this before, i cleaned out a washing up bowl (use a smaller bowl!) put soem hot water on the bottom and then popped the tab into the water, sticking my head into the bowl and covering with a towel. After 15 mintues, use cotton wool with the water on to wipe over your face and tip a load of the water into a bottle to use as a spritzer the next day- maybe pout it in the fridge overnight to cool yourself down on a summers day.

Experience- It was very hot and kind of uncomfortable under the towel and slightly boring so the 15 mintues took a while to pass. After doing that my skin felt really 'open' and i decided to use my cleanser and moisturiser while they are likely to be their most effective while rinsing the cleanser off with some of the toner water. I also wiped my face with the toner water with cotton wool so it may be more effective. I felt very refreshed that evening but it didn't really do a lot to my skin, other than refreshing it and making my skin feel cleaner

Altogether it seems to work for some people so give it a try. Even if it did work on my skin i would still only use it as an occasional treat as it is very tedious and i have found that a Breath of Fresh air toner actually works for me anyway.
