For my birthday this year a very good friend of mine decided to invest wisely in a Lush package which she picked the items for. Knowing that I had tried 90% of the products Lush had to offer her challenge was a bit of an arduous task to find four different products that I had not tried. Amazingly she managed it. Having tried Lush's Vitamin E toner tab and been pleased with it, I was keen to try the other ones available. I actually got seven of the toner tabs free when placing an order on the Lush website several months ago, and the latest one I have tried is the Vitamin C Tab. So, what's a toner tab? Well rather than a regular liquid toner which you simply wipe over your face to tone and refresh it, these are little 'tablets' which you drop into a bowl or sink of boiling water, and then steam your skin. ~Introduction~ I've had it rough the last week or so... I had a rather nasty stomach bug last week which seems to have gone now, but has been replaced by a cold. Typical. My skin has become very dry in the past few months so I decided to see if I can make it a bit better by following a cleanse , tone and moisturise routine. I already have Lush Ultrabland cleanser and Celestial moisturiser, so a Lush toner was an obvious choice - I decided to try the Vit C Toner Tab. This is my favorite Toner tab from Lush! But what exactly is a toner tab I hear you say? Well Lush is all about creating quality products that are kind to your skin and to the environment hence they created a toner that is solid and therefore saves on packaging. What you do is drop the toner tab in a bowl of hot water and place a towel over your head to steam your face. The smell is really refreshing and it will open your pores and clean them.
