Being a big fan of Lynx's "Africa" deodorant, i was immediately drawn towards this aftershave that i saw in superdrug for £4.99. The Africa deodorant worked wonders for me; making my girlfriend love smelling me all the time (as weird as that is).

Yet i have to say i was largely disappointed with this version for many reasons. Firstly, the scent was nowhere near as strong or appealing as that of the deodorant - in fact it did nothing much apart from make my skin a bit red. To add to this, the aftershave was very metro-sexual, and could probably even pass as unisex. I was expecting a strong, manly scent such as the deodorant; but instead i got perfumed water.

The packaging wasn't bad - yet not spectacular. I was let down by the lack of the spray nozzle. It meant i had to drip some aftershave on my hands first and then apply it; which meant i just ended up with incredibly strange-smelling hands all day.

In summary i'd definitely say avoid this product. It is cheap, smells bland, and is hard to apply. Invest in something a bit higher-range such as Davidoff or Armani.

Summary: Don't bother with this - either just stick to deodorant or buy a better aftershave!
