Advantages: decent cut, lasts a while, glide strips are good with decent protection

Disadvantages: design, price

I actually got this razor free from the lynxrazor website and was pretty damn pleased with it. Its always good to get something for free and also for it to perform well.

The razor gives a decent enough cut and has the added bonus of the 'lubricated' plastic strip which is only a type of plastic that gives a smoother glide. Protection is quite nice and can get pretty close without hacking your face to pieces at all.
It can get a bit annoying to hold as it is moulded into a curved shape that only really allows one angle, though feels sturdy enough.

On the value side of things, it's still pretty expensive (but I got mine free - one blade only though) and for a little extra is thee good ol' Gillette range with a more sturdy and relible metal design, giving a slightly better cut. Replacement blades are a bit steep too. A middle-ground razor.
For value, you can't do better than the pack of 10 razors lasting about a few days each for a couple quid a bag..... they give a decent enough cut...ish
