Advantages: Great primer and skin finish

To begin with I will give you a summary of what the mac website states about this product before I offer my opinion.

"An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of Green Tea, Camomile, Cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energising scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!" (maccosmetics.co.uk)

To be honest I cannot quite pinpoint the smell, however it is very refreshing and I do quite like it. Mac market the fix + as a skin refresher and finishing mist, however I mostly use it for the latter. At £11 per bottle I don't want to waste it by using it as a skin refresher. I sometimes apply before I put my make up on and it acts as a primer, but mostly I just spray some on once make up is applied, from an arms length distance, and this helps seal the make up as well as giving a dewy finish to the skin.

The vitamins and minerals in this product are definately conditioning for the skin as when I remove make up and have used this either as a primer or finishing spray I find my skin is rather moisturised.

The deisgn of the bottle is quite useful, you just turn the top so that the nozzle is able to squirt the product out and away you go! The bottle is clear which I like because it is easy to see exactly how much product I have left. I have been using this for a month and have barely begun to make the level of fluid drop so I would imagine this lasts a long time, although I do not use it every day.

The product can be bought from your local mac counter or freestanding store, or from maccosmetics.co.uk. A useful thing to know as well is that mac have a recycling policy whereby if you bring back 6 empty containers or bottles you can receive a free lipstick or eyeshadow, so if you use mac lots of just foresee yourself using this product lots then hold onto the bottles once finished.

All in all I would recommend this product because although it is a tad pricey for what looks like water, it does have a well thought out ingredient list and is very calming for the face. It also means that makeup lasts longer, usually all day for me, even in the hot weather. Therefore I am giving this 5/5.
