Molton Brown Gentle Exfoliating Toner

This opinion is about a variety of Molton Brown products as I wanted to cover a cross section of the range.I have asked for a "general" Molton Brown category but it has not come to fruition! As some of you may know from my other reviews, I am a big fan of the Molton Brown range and use many of their skin and body care products. I do, however, use other skincare ranges too but one product that I continue to use is Molton Brown's Gentle Exfoliating Toner. To be honest, until a couple of years ago, I didn't really see the point in using a toner but after trying this particular one I have been using it ever since. I initially bought this toner as part of a set that included the full beauty routine...cleanser, toner, eye cream and moisturiser. This was priced at £15 as a special offer in our local House of Fraser...it is a fairly regular offer, and I would suggest checking regularly if you want to try Molton Brown. They also sell on QVCUK.com at good reductions. You can buy it in a variety of sizes, and it is always presented in a stylish clear bottle with silver top. I know it?s not usual for men to use toners but after researching the subject online, I came to the conclusion that a toner in theory would be could for the skin as it would help refine and close the pores on the face after cleansing thus helping to alleviate problems such as blackheads which I tend to suffer from. The first thing I have to comment on is the smell. This product, I suppose to be expected form a company such as Molton Brown, smells absolutely brilliant. It?s fresh, fruity, not floral at all and not in any way sickly or heavy. I have been a big fan of the Molton Brown range ever since I was introduced to the products a few years ago by my daughter. They have a wide range of facial and body products and even although I was not a big fan of using toner, I found this one to be very good and gentle on the skin. To be honest this is what I would call a moisturising toner if there was such a thing. I used to be quite wary of toners as they usually leave my face feeling quite tight because I have mature skin that is quite dry and gets irritated very easily.
