After a hard working week I like to get home, One of the easiest ways for me to relax is to kick off my shoes, have a nice hot relaxing bath and pamper myself with a facemask. I don't have any skin problems, so I guess I am quite lucky because I can pretty much use anything and not find it causing me any irritation or spot breakouts.

One of my favourite facial mask ranges are Montagne Jeuneese which you can buy in most supermarkets, online, at places like Boots and Superdrug and even in your local chemists. They range in price from 99p right up to £1.25 where I live and just a few days ago my local chemist had an offer of buy two and get the third free, so as I am always looking out for a bargain I stocked up on them.

The Montagne Jeunesse range caters for a lot of different skin needs within their facemask range, so whether it is an anti-stress mask, dry skin nourishing masks, aromatherapy masks, mud masks or even an exfoliating masks Montagne Jeunesse have something for everyone.

This time I have settled for the dry skin nourishing face masks because with this cold weather setting in one day and it being hot the next my skin has become a little dry around my cheeks, nose and forehead and although I do exfoliate my skin is currently in need of something extra and this facial mask is marketed as being seriously moisturising and that is exactly what I need.

Each facemask comes in a sachet which contains 20ml of cream and to open this sachet there is an easy tear tab on the side. When it comes to using this face mask I found some instructions on the back which say that your face should be cleaned before using and this ensures that any impurities are removed from the skin to allow the face mask to work properly. When it came to opening the sachet, I did find it quite tricky to tear it open, even though there was a small tear to indicate where to tear it from, however as soon as I did manager to open it one of the first things I noticed is the smell of the Shea Butter which to me was quite prominent. Then as you squeeze the contents on to your fingers the cream inside is like a really thick but smooth creamy paste which is bright white in colour.

When applying the mask to your face using your fingers you gently apply the cream directly onto your skin and you should ensure that you cover your entire face, excluding your eyes and mouth with an even amount of cream. I found that the cream is quite a thick consistency so it can be quite tricky to spread across your face when applying but once you get the hang of doing it, it is much easier. The directions for this mask are that you should leave it on your face for up to 20 minutes and the one thing to note is that it doesnt dry and become hard, it remains as you put it on your face although it does seep into the skin.

After your 20 minutes are up you can then begin to remove the excess mask from your face and when I do that, I use my fingers to massage my face carefully whilst using warm water to gently remove any excess cream. Once I had washed my face and dried my face one of the first things I noticed was the my skin on my face was very smooth and soft and the dry skin which I had on my cheeks, chin and forehead was nowhere near as bad as it was prior to using this facial mask.

The main ingredients within this face mask are Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Aloe Vera all of which work together combined to intensively re-hydrate, revitalise and nourish the skin and it is particularly good for people who suffer with sensitive skin.

I really do rate this facial masks, Montagne Jeunesse claim to only use natural ingredients and do not test any of their products on animals. My skin always feels really lovely after using one of these masks, no matter which type it is and the after effects always last for a couple of day. Each sachet has been designed for one use only, although I I am honest there is always a lot left over in my sachets so I an often get at least two applications from it which for 99p is a real bargain and especially for the results that I get.
