I got this face mask in Home Bargains for 88p and it smells yummy and just like chocolate fudge. It's a sauna mask and doesn't dry completely or set and is really creamy on my face. It starts warming up as soon as you apply it but it's more gradual than a lot of sauna masks and doesn't suddenly become hot and scare you that you're having a reaction! The heat stays there as well and I thought it was proper soothing to have on my face when I was lying on the bed reading. My skin felt loads softer after I'd used the face mask and that feeling lasted for 2 days after. It made my skin feel smooth and dead clean as well. On the sachet it says that it ... It was time for another face mask again and this time I chose the fudge sauna one as I had read good reviews about it on here. The face mask is a non hardening one which just requires applying and then washing off fifteen minutes later. I was looking forward to the fudge aroma as it's one of my favourite sweets and I really could eat it all day. The packet shows a lady with a light brown coloured mess all over her face with some leaves covering her eyes with chunks of fudge in the centre of them. This isn't the most attractive packaging but it does stand out so I guess the marketing trick works. The labelling claims this is a self heating mask, which ... Read the complete review

I was well chuffed this Christmas to wake up and find a stocking on my bed courtesy of hubby. I was like a big child and even though the kids were all at my bedroom door asking if they could go downstairs to get their presents I wouldn't let them until I had opened my stocking. It may seem strange but even cotton wool pads when contained in a Christmas stocking are seen in a new light. Of the many little bits and pieces pulled out there were three different Montagne Jeunesse face masks and I couldn't wait to try one as I was sitting in the bath. I chose the deep cleansing hot vanilla fudge sauna mask first probably due to the name. The ... Read the complete review

I was told recently that I'm too stressed and that I need to 'pamper' and 'indulge' myself. How do you do that? I had a vision of me painting my nails, up to my eyeballs in body moisturiser, a cleansing mask welded to my face and cucumber on my eyes (plus a g&t in one hand!). I opted for just a face pack and went for a yummy sounding fudge one. I couldn't find much background information on Montagne Jeunesse, although they seem to be a very popular producer of face masks. I trust that they're quality products not only because I've used them and have never found them to be anything but nourishing, but also because they wouldn't have such a consumer ratings ... I spotted this in Boots a couple of weeks ago, and just had to buy it - I think it was the 'Fudge' part of the name that did it for me! I have used quite a few Montagne Jeunesse products, and I've found them a bit hit and miss - they either seem to be brilliant or totally rubbish. This particular mask contains 'rich Mediterranean clay' and states that its warming effect opens the pores to draw out dirt and grime. It doesn't actually contain real fudge - I can't really imagine smothering your face in fudge would do it much good! - however it does contain vanilla extract which I guess is partly what gives it its name. The mask is made in the UK, is ... Read the complete review
