Montague Jeunesse Mud Pac - Mer Morte Masque a la Boue (that translates as Dead Sea Sediment Mask- so no wonder they put it in French), is, in my opinion one of those special treatment day masks. You know the days I mean when you are going to do a top to toe "me" session.

It feels and looks as if it is doing your skin good. It is great for use on normal skin with an oily T Zone to achieve an ultra deep pore clean.

The mask contains de nutrients de kelp marin- that's seaweed to you and me, and we have all heard of the nutrient benefits of seaweed.
I met a lady in Eire, who came down to the shore a couple of times a week to collect seaweed to bathe in, she admitted to being no spring chicken- but her appearance said otherwise - her skin was amazing.

To open your pores and thus benefit from this deep cleanse, you should first clean your face with warm water- (just warm water mind- nothing else allowed). Then, as with all masks avoiding the eye area, apply the mask all over your face and neck using your fingertips. I like to apply this when I am soaking in a hot bath- makes me feels extra pampered. Lay back and relax for 10-15 minutes until the mask has dried and rinse off with water.

Now the rinsing off will take a few minutes- but underneath you will reveal a clean healthy looking skin, that also feels soft, (that must be the seaweed), the fifteen minutes rest will have done you no harm either.

They recommend you use this product once a week- but I am sure that for most of us finding the time to spoil ourselves is not a weekly agenda item.

As soon as I use my mask, I put the need for another on my shopping list, so that as and when I can next take time to chill, it is ready and waiting.

The mask costs 99p and I bought mine fom Superdrug, but they are available in most chemists.

The product is approved by The Vegetarian Society, which is what drew my attention to it in the first place. It also bears the no testing on animals logo.

So looking forward to the next time I get to use it already.
