Advantages: Cleans and revitalizes skin
Disadvantages: none
After the hectic bad day I had yesturday, I was still on the relaxing mode. The chocolate helped yesturday, today is the turn of the face pack. I buy face packs about once a month, being a regular shoper in the bodycare shop in Hereford I always find a face pack which is not only really good but is affordable too. the last time I went to town I bought this one-Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Anti-Stress Mud Pac. Sounds posh doesn't it? Well, I can tell you that it only cost me 99p for a little packet which is 0.7oz and will treat the face and neck to one loverly relaxing face pack. The pack itself has a woman on the front who seems to have stuffed as many things on her face as possible it really is funny. The face pack is shown to be bright blue and she has leaves with bits of coral and sea weed covering her eyes, it's a bit off putting if you go on the products packaging. But fear not! The end results are well worth it and you don't have to find all the other gunk the woman on the packet has to put on your face. It's a foil type packet, red background with the silly picture on the front and you get iin it by ripping the side open. Once inside you will smell the nice scent of the face pack. It has a slight scent of bergamot and lavender. These two are essential oils which are used to help people relax and de-stress. so the product is on the right track there. Now another deception about the picture on the front is that when you do get inside the packet the face pack isn't bright blue at all. It's a loverly light green colour with a rich scent. This face pack is quite thick in consistancy and you get a very generous amount in the packet. To use first rinse your face with warm water and pat dry with a towel. Apply the face pack to the face starting at the forehead and working your way down the side of the face ,nose and chin. Remember to steer clear of the eyes and if you do g
et it in your eyes rinse out immediately with water. Cut two pieces of cucumber to cover your eyes and go and lay down and relax for fifteen minutes, as the face pack dries. Always remember to unplug the phone when your having your relaxation time as there's nothing worse than getting your face pack on to then have to get up to answer the phone and crack the drying face pack which will leave crease marks on your skin if this does happen. After you have relaxed for the required amount of time, the face pack will have gone hard, you will feel it tighten and tingle the skin as it drys, this is a nice sensation and while your spacing off relaxing this is getting your skin nice and smooth. The minerals in the face pack are cleansing your skin to leave you feeling refreshed and with clean healthy skin. Rinse off the face pack which might take a little time as it is now hard and dry, remember it will sting if you get it in youir eyes. Pat your skin dry with a towel and see the results in the mirror. This is the best face pack so far that I have used, I like the nice scent of it and the end results can visibly be seen. The price is cheap enough too, so it's an all round winner for me. Although I think they should update the picture on the packet, yet it's easy to spot on the shelves. This is also made in the uk although there isn't a web address to visit. if you see it in the shops, then it's worth trying. If you have sensative skin i would advise you to do a little skin test before putting it on all of your face. Take care.

- 23/03/04 Well said!
And back to your review....I've seen these and often wondered about trying one. I suppose at 99p I can't grumble at the price so I might give it a go! |
