Montagne Jeunesse has a very simple premise of natural face care. They haven't diversified like other companies with the same basis but have stuck very much to the vast range of face masks.

It comes in a rip open 1 use packet for about a pound. This contains 20ml of masque which is far far more than you need!!! I find with any of these products you are best to put them on over a sink or when in the bath as I do find I get loads of the fluid dropping off my face!!!!

This masque itself is a sort of pain peach colour!!! The smell does have a sweet tint, but reminds me of porridge, more than anything else!!!! It is not unpleasant though and due to the ingredients is a non chemical scent.

The beads were not painful and were fairly sparse within the cream. The instructions said to rub them in for 1 minute and then leave for ten. Although I could feel the beads on my skin they didn't hurt, but also didnt seem to do too much with regard to removing dead skin, however as I left the mask I could feel that my skin did feel tighter and felt warmed and freshened. When I took the mask off my skin was slightly red but felt soft to the touch.

The morning after the facemask, my skin was awful!!! All red and the spots looked HUGE. However since, this has improved rapidly - hopefully the mask was dragging all the stuff out of my skin. I wouldn't want to do this as a regular product, but it does seem to help, and although my complexion is not great, this does seem to destroy some of the spots!!! It left my skin softer and after a few days more even and a few less spots.

Summary: An active and pleasant face masque, but no miracle.
