Neal's Yard is a very interesting and controversial British company specialising in homeopathic and alternative remedies and cosmetics. The controversy comes from claims the company made last year regarding the ability of their homeopathic remedies to cure serious diseases including malaria. I have been using Neals Yard Frankincense Nourising Cream for 3 months now, and have definitely noticed a visable improvement in the firmness and texture of my skin. There are various oils in the cream which nourish and condition your skin, these are:- jojoba, wheatgerm, almond, apricot kernel and sunflower. These are combined with the pure essential oils of frankincense and myrrh, which are renowned for their moisturising and rejuvinating properties. I was lucky enough to pick up a copy of a magazine which had a free sample of this cream attached to the cover. I think I have dry skin, although my beautician describes it as 'dehydrated' whenever I go in for a facial. I've found it difficult to source products specifically for dehydrated skin, so I go for dry skin products and hope for the best. More often than not, I end up with something that is too rich and heavy, and which occasionally brings on an outbreak of spots. I love this moisturiser - particularly as it ticks all the right boxes for me being derived mostly from organic materials. Its also a British company and I love being able to buy a high quality product produced over here! The moisturiser is thick in texture but is non-greasy and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. For me, the smell is the best bit of the moisturiser though. It really is amazing and makes me feel relaxed and calm - perfect before a busy day in the office. The cream (at the moment) comes in a glass container which is great for recycling.
