Advantages: Cooling on hot skin in summer. Lovely natural subtle scent.

Disadvantages: Can't think of one....

Lavender is well-known for its healing and restorative properties and I think you'll find the Lavender Water lives up to that.

Don't discount the scent of Lavender as being all about old ladies - it deserves a better press! The old style perfumes of lavender were somewhat yukky - too flowery. The Neals Yard is very natural and has a scent which is cool and fresh and of a garden in summer, or the acres and acres of lavender fields in Southern France. Bliss.

This Neals Yard flower water is ok for most skins. It comes in 100ml or 200ml and you can buy spritzer bottle tops to use. I always keep some with me in summer, especially on holiday. For hot and sun burnt skin it soothes and cools.

I also use it a couple of times a week as a toner and refresher to leave the pores cleansed.

I don't have problem skin but I think that a natural product like this might well help those that do.

I use mine mostly on my face, but they work well on the rest of the body and even spraying into the air or your pillow.

Just sptriz it direct onto your skin or dab it on cotton wool pad and stroke it on. Men can use it too - it's not too girlie!

The waters are based on Australian bush Flower Essences and combined with essential oils.

Neals Yard also have other flower frangrance spritzers and waters - try rose or orange too.

The cost is - currently £4.55 or so for 100ml and £7.80 for 200ml. But it depends where you buy it I think.

I have previously bought these direct from Neals Yard - their mail order service is very efficient. However, the postage charges are quite high (£4.00 for orders under £100) so I now buy from from the good selection of Neals Yard product at www.purplesunrise.com - whose psotage costs are MUCH less (£1.50) and card payment options more comprehensive. Neals Yard products are also avaiable from some shops.

Summary: Fresh, soothing and lovely scent
