... is not intended to be a novelty item, and while I can have all the fun I want with my root beer float-flavoured balm, or the yellow tube with a Spongebob face on it, it has a job to do. And this actually does a decent enough job. Firstly, I love that it has SPF20. If any of you have had sunburned lips before, as I'm particularly prone to, you will know how painful and quite frankly gross-looking they are. Nobody wants a flaky trout pout on their holiday pics thankyouverymuch! If I'm going to carry around a balm al...more

Premium Review Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Lip Care SPF 20: A good everyday balm but don't expect miracles! (618 words)

God alone knows how many lip balm reviews I've written by now, but as with many girls they are a bit of an impulse purchase and I tend to end up with at least one in every bag. Because of that, I rarely stick with one long enough to finish it up before it gets lost. But would you believe it there's only a nubbin left of my Neutrogena balm so I guess that must mean it's something special. Right? Um, well actually, not so much... See here's the thing. This is a great everyday balm, but it's really boring. Call me a big kid but I'm all about yummy flavours, fun packaging, something that I will be happy to use rather than acknowledge the fact that my lips are a ...  Read the complete review

Aah Winter. A time of sniffles, snuffles. It's cold, windy and generally miserable. Whilst it may be a grim time for me, makers of nostrums and remedies are no doubt rubbing their hands together in glee. Even lip balm makers will be doing well, as a combination of colds and flu, and wind and chill conspire to dry and crack my lips. I don't use lip balm on a daily basis, only when my lips have turned a bit scaly, cracked and uncomfortable. This has happened, due in no small measure to the factors listed above. I therefore popped to Boots to find a suitable healing lip balm. Well, stone me, there are a lot of them. Sadly, they're all sealed in boxes, so you can't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Lip Care SPF 20: Neutrogema Lip Balm - Quick Fix Lips (615 words)

Neutrogena Lip Balm SPF 20..... I have always suffered with dry lips and I have tried most lip balms that are on the market but still yet to find one that I am 100% happy with. This Neutrogena lip balm is not one I have seen on sale in Boots before but when I picked this up for £2.50 pence it was the last one on the shelf which made me believe it must be popular. It's 4.8 grams in weight and the size of the balm is pretty standard. The cost however was a little more than I thought the product would have been but I thought if it worked then it would be worth it. The lip balm stick itself is used just like a lipstick and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review gorgeous product (303 words)

I love this product it certainly does meet expectations. Here is some useful product info:- Neutrogena 6 hour protection balm Claims to moisturise and protect lips for 6 hours 15ml Made in France I use this quite regularly and have noticed that my lips don't dry out as much as they did when the heating is on in the office. I have also noticed that they appear a little deeper in colour making them look a lot healthier. The balm has a minty taste to it which isn't too over powering and the appearance on lips is a clear gloss to start then you can't really tell you are wearing it. When it is first applied it gives your lips a slight ...  Read the complete review
