Advantages: Is skin friendly

Disadvantages: Is overpriced

Face washes are one of those things ,which are almost always necessary (unless you are the use your hand soap type). But only God knows how you are supposed to choose between the 100 and something different brands. Well I decided that rather then comparing each one I would just go out see what was on sale and buy it.

So on my trip to the discount store I found this cleanser in the two euro section, and since I have heard of Neutrogena and know it is a decent brand I went ahead and bought it.

Now on the bottle it claims to be for dry and/or sensitive skin, now I don't particularly have either dry or sensitive skin, but I figured that since I am prone to redness and dry/greasy areas this shouldn't inflame my skin.

The bottle is 150ml and is the standard flip cap type, which stands on its lid.
The consistency is just like a runny gel and is easy to pour into your hands however, while it claims to have foaming properties it really was barely noticeable and hardly worth mentioning.

This face wash is very mild and skin friendly as it has very little fragrance (perfume tends to irritate the skin) and in that regard it was very friendly and compatible with my skin. However if you like a cleanser that can double as a makeup remover this will not do the trick. Since it is so mild it doesn't remove heavy makeup/mascara very well and so you will need a separate cleanser or remover for that.

As an average day to day face wash this was nice and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean, there is no noticeable scent just a slightly soapy one.
It has lasted me for two months so far and there is still some left so it does go a long way, although it's a shame it isn't strong enough to remove eye makeup.

I believe that the full price is around 5 pounds in the UK, and to be honest I don't know if I would have bought it at that price simply because a bar of baby soap works just as well.

Three stars because it is a nice mild face wash, minus two stars because at five pounds it is overpriced for what it does.
