One of the Good Woman's favourite recreational hobbies is squeezing the blackheads from my delicate and wrinkled skin. I used to think she would grow out of this crazy past time, but no, she wouldn't stop and sometimes I've had to physically restrain her from entering my own personal space!

The marriage guidance councillor..... no only kidding! It wasn't that bad. Anyway I discovered Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub....... or spot cream for short! I've got naturally oily skin and am prone to the dreaded blackheads.... and to be honest, even though she loves to squeeze, Joanne did go to Boots to get me the stuff.

It's got tiny little microbeads in which you can feel when applying to the face and these unclog the pores in the skin to prevent the nasty blemishes. You only need to apply a very small amount so the the above tube or whatever it's called will last probably last a pretty long time.

Very important to wash the face first with soap and water before applying to the face. I love the feeling of all the little beads on my face. Afterwards my skin has natural glow to it. I'd say positively radiant!
After a couple of weeks, all the blackheads were gone and haven't been seen since. Using it about three times a week keeps them at bay. The above tube cost £4.20

The darling wife now has another hobby. Plucking my eyebrows! Plucking hell! Like with the blackheads I always think she's looking adoringly into my eyes but no she's eyeing up a vulnerable spot or eyebrow hair. I'm off to shave it all off! What next?...... Maybe a straight jacket for her!
