I like my skin to look fresh and glowing and the only way to do that is to drink plenty of water, don't smoke and use a nice exfoliating wash to scrub away the dead skin cells. ***About the Product*** This exfoliating wash comes in a plastic tube 150ml and its pretty eye catching as one of the colours is orange and it grabbed my attention when I was looking on the shelf at Asda! It has a flat lid so you can stand it up. The contents squeeze out and the consistency is quite runny with what they call "micro beads" they feel a bit like sand but in a nicer form! The colour of the liquid is clear and the beads are so tiny but they ... Read the complete review

I recently wrote quite a damning review of a Neutrogena Rapid Clear Spot Gel. At around the time I purchased that product, I also bought some Neutrogena Visibly Clear Gentle Exfoliating Wash, which has fared much better and so has the great honour of receiving two stars more than its friend. ~~~What it promises~~~ The exfoliating wash promises to 'clean deep down', leaving skin 'feeling soft and smooth' and looking 'clear and healthy every day'. The wash contains 'natural plant extracts' to condition skin, plus soft microbeads to 'exfoliate dead skin cells and cleanse deep into pores, helping to prevent blemishes without over-drying your skin'. I have oily acne prone skin which drove me mad when I was a teenager. Two hours after washing my face, you could fry an egg on it and I had dreadful acne. Then my mum got me a big blue tub of Noxema from the US - it smelled medicinal and the packaging was quite dire but it helped my skin so much I used it constantly for the next 8 years. Then I moved to the UK and the weather helped clear my skin up considerably. Now it's still prone to the occasional blemish but it's much better. Thos old acne scars however are still there so I decided to try this exfoliating wash and see if it made any difference. The fact that it is made by Neutrogena who made my beloved ... Being the "proud owner!" of two teenage boys, iy is my dubious pleasure to be in charge of finding products to keep them there testesterone driven spots at bay. What a task that is! It's hard enough when faced with the dazzling array on offer to find something for myself without that added little extra...something "not too girly". That's right, I have to find something which will keep teenage spots at bay, leave the boys with clean faces, and not obviously belong to them. Somehow there seems to be a ban on obvious zit remedies...who wants to admit they are fighting "the plague?" So, about a week ago, i wandered miserably along the ... Read the complete review

I am always on the look out for a good face wash; I really like ones that don’t dry out the skin but clean deep down, as I am prone to those dreaded blackheads. I have tried another Neutrogena one and found that really good, so I hear you ask, “If it was that good why didn’t you stick with it?” Well there’s always that feeling of maybe there is something better, and if I didn’t try lots of different ones then I wouldn’t have anything to write about and I would lose my 10p for writing my review! Anyway back to the product I acquired this from my sister, she had bought it on buy one get one free or BOGOF as some people call it, personally sometimes I wish she ... Read the complete review
