I recently wrote quite a damning review of a Neutrogena Rapid Clear Spot Gel. At around the time I purchased that product, I also bought some Neutrogena Visibly Clear Gentle Exfoliating Wash, which has fared much better and so has the great honour of receiving two stars more than its friend. ~~~What it promises~~~ The exfoliating wash promises to 'clean deep down', leaving skin 'feeling soft and smooth' and looking 'clear and healthy every day'. I have oily acne prone skin which drove me mad when I was a teenager. Two hours after washing my face, you could fry an egg on it and I had dreadful acne. Then my mum got me a big blue tub of Noxema from the US - it smelled medicinal and the packaging was quite dire but it helped my skin so much I used it constantly for the next 8 years. Being the "proud owner!" of two teenage boys, iy is my dubious pleasure to be in charge of finding products to keep them there testesterone driven spots at bay. What a task that is! I am always on the look out for a good face wash; I really like ones that don’t dry out the skin but clean deep down, as I am prone to those dreaded blackheads.
