Advantages: Skin becomes clearer, Reduced visible pores, Anti-ageing

Disadvantages: Small tube, Price

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

This product comes in a 30ml tube and is available in two variants - one with SPF15 and one without.
It claims to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of pores for visibly smoother, more refined skin every time you use it! It is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and is dermatologist tested (like all Neutrogena products).

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

It contains anti-ageing retinol which helps remove fine lines and wrinkles.
Also contained are alpha hydroxy acids (AHA's)which remove dead skin layers from your skin leaving it looking younger and more radiant.

WARNINGS

As with all products containing AHA's, it is not suitable for extremely sensitive skin.

MY OPINION

I came across this product and was pleased as I had been looking for a good moisturiser containing AHA's, SPF15 and was non-comedogenic and this fitted the bill nicely. The added bonus of retinol was also good. I get breakouts every now and then so the non-clogging factor was vitally important.
I have now been using it for about a month and I am extremely pleased with the results. The cream is of a nice texture and absorbs into the skin quickly. It has a pleasant light fragrance. I wouldn't say I had majorly visible pores beforehand so I can't really judge on whether it works for this although the few I had around my nose are no longer as visible.
What I have found is my skin looks a lot clearer, more radiant and feels smooth and soft. I also have not come out in spots which is an amazing achievement, I think this is the first moisturiser that has done this for me.

SKIN TYPES

My skin is spot-prone but also gets a little dry and I found the AHA's were brilliant at getting rid of all the flaky, dry patches (as we all know that looks terrible when you put foundation over the top!).
Therefore, I would recommend this to people with dry sk
in and oily skin alike. I find it doesn't leave your face looking shiny but moisturises dry patches efficiently. However, I don't think the moisturisation would be enough for very dry skin.

DISADVANTAGES

The only small disadvantage of this product is the size of the tube for the price. It costs £9.99 for 30ml from Superdrug for both variants (Boots charge £11.99 for the SPF15 one). Don't be fooled by the size of the box as you could probably fit about 3 of the tubes in there! However, I am not even halfway through my tube yet and have been using it for a month, maybe longer. You only need to use it sparingly as a little goes a long way.
Also there are a lot more moisturisers on the market that cost a lot more but aren't as effective.

OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE VISIBLY REFINED RANGE

* Pore Mattifier
* Pore Refining Facial Wash
* Pore Refining Toner

I would be very interested to hear if anyone has tried the above products.

Sound great, it's good that it has a SPF factor 'built in' too. Not much point in just getting rid of lines and wrinkles that you have then getting more from the sunshine (when we get some)

This sounds really good & as I have dry skin too, it would probably suit my skin - but it's a bit expensive.

Nicely structured op.
