Nivea Sooththing Aftershave Balm. Shaving can sometimes seem like a pain in the neck, especially if you have fairly sensitive skin like I do. Considering the number of times an average man will shave in his life time (maybe two times a week or more, every week, from age 18 to 70 if he is permanently clean shaven) it is shocking now little care we take on aftercare. We wouldn't dream of using a rusty razor to do the job, but we happily leave our face red and sore after every shave. For this reason Nivea Aftershave Balm is highly recommended. The jar it comes in is heavy, a sort of thick white glass. It is quite pleasing to look at, quite ... Read the complete review

Im probably like most men and really do not like shaving at the best of times and really have an issue with finding an aftershave balm which either doesn’t sting or irritate me to the point it burns my face. I came across Nivea Balm as a Christmas present from my sister and though t I would do a review on it. The Packaging It comes in a cardboard box resembling the size of a small notepad, the bottle inside comes in a thick white glass container which has a dark blue box on the front with the Nivea motif in white inside it. The bottle itself is quite heavy but this makes it durable and can take a drop on the floor as I have done a couple ... Read the complete review

If you are like me who has sensitve skin, then I would really recommend that you use a aftershave balm. For me shaving has always been a nightmare, even with all these new high tech blades. They sure do cut the hair fine, but leave you feeling like you have third degree burns on you face. I was recommended Nivea aftershave balm, thinking that it was just another one of these products that make huge claims but don`t deliever on the goods. I was shocked when applied. It really feels like someone has got a hose on you face, cooling and soothing the skin. Give it ago, what have you to loose, only the pain and redness. ... Read the complete review

If like me your skin feels like someone is holding a blow torch to it after you have finished shaving, then I thoroughyl recommend that you use Nivea after shave balm. You may feel a little girly (or maybe even gay) having a bottle of skin lotion in your bathroom, but get over it, this stuff is great. As soon as you put it on you can feel the cool calming effect it has on your skin. Normally it should help to reduce any redness and soreness you may experience after shaving aswell as leaving your skin really smooth. It costs about £5 for a bottle, but it is well worth it, because it lasts for ages. Trust me it will be the best thing you have done for your skin in ages. ... Read the complete review

Call me an old woman (which i'm not, by the way), but i've always been a big fan of the normal, old-fashioned Nivea Cream. Unfortunately it's just not really suitable for use as an aftershave balm. So when i learned that Nivea did various aftershave balms as part of their "Nivea For Men" range, i got quite excited. I was hoping that this would mean i could experience fantastic Nivea skincare, whilst using a proper, manly shaving product. I wouldn't say i have particularly sensitive skin, but when i shave there's generally a lot of burning and soreness. Ideal to test an aftershave balm on then. Nivea aftershave balms come in 100ml glass ... Read the complete review
