Nivea Sooththing Aftershave Balm.

Shaving can sometimes seem like a pain in the neck, especially if you have fairly sensitive skin like I do. Considering the number of times an average man will shave in his life time (maybe two times a week or more, every week, from age 18 to 70 if he is permanently clean shaven) it is shocking now little care we take on aftercare. We wouldn't dream of using a rusty razor to do the job, but we happily leave our face red and sore after every shave.

For this reason Nivea Aftershave Balm is highly recommended. The jar it comes in is heavy, a sort of thick white glass. It is quite pleasing to look at, quite contemporary and not overly feminine. This is very important for men and I think Nivea have it spot on.

The cream is dispenced by pushing the lockable plunger. This means that it lasts AGES. I've used it everytime I shave for over a year and there is still lots left. You will usually only need 3 or 4 pressed per shave, so at £5 or so a bottle it is excellent value.

The cream itself is very soothing, thick and cool. I'm not too fond of the smell, but it isn't too strong and fades quite quickly. Once the cream has properly soaked in, you skin feels super smooth, supple and moisturised. Best of all you feel confident that you have done your skin a little favour. It quikly becomes part of your shaving routine and and fears about "gayness" fade when you realise it's just part of the routine.

I'd highly recommend this, works great and leave your skin looking perfect.
