Advantages: Well moisturises and does not weigh skin down
Disadvantages: Quite difficult to apply
This is a thick yet effective moisturiser, which could appear to be deceptively greasy yet is not. Nivea is a well renowned, world famous brand and I am a great fan of the products, this being one of my favourite.
This creme is quite expensive compared to some of its shop brand counterparts, yet giving the intensity of the moisturiser this is not surprising. A small amount of this creme goes a long way, and although it is hard to rub into the skin it does spread and you will probably find that a pea sized amount is ample for the face and neck.
As said, this creme is a relatively thick moisturiser and can be quite difficult to apply yet surprisingly, does not leave the skin feeling greasy or heavy. In fact, once applied, it is one of the least noticeable moisturisers that I have ever used - it is absorbed well and provides a great base for make up.
Although expensive compared to some brands, this is ridiculously cheap compared to high end brands which probably don't do the same job half as well. This is a moisturiser definitely worth investing in - the bigger tubs provide better value but the smaller ones are perfect for handbags.
P.s. When it's the winter and my knuckles get dry and cracked, I cover my hands in this moisturiser and put gloves on, leaving them for about an hour - it does the trick perfectly!
Summary: Good value, good quality product
