Nivea for men skin essentials care product that mosturieses and protects while shaving. This is a good shaving gel I have tried many shaving gels and I found this gel the best out of them all.It is normal to dry skin the gel is blue and the can comes in is blue also. This can contains 200ml and weighs 197 grams. This is an ultra rich gel with moistureiser and vitamin care. This gel helps protect and prevent dry and tight skin it also cares and improves the conditions of the skin.It just seems when I strike my berard with the razor when I have the nivea gel on it is so smooth and glides very easy no rough or deep cuts.It gets a close and extra gentle shave it also ... Given that Nivea make so many girly potions and lotions, I assumed they would know how to make a simple Shave Gel for men. So quite foolishly I purchased this item for a "try". ~FIRST IMPRESSIONS~ Admittedly, I am normally a Gillette man (because in my opinion nothing comes close to either the razors, nor the gels/foams that they manufacture) so maybe im slightly biased but there are two issues that immediately struck me with Nivea gel (before using it). Firstly for a similar cost to the equivalent Gillette gel, you get less for your money. We are talking 200ml versus 250ml for most of the others at the same, or a more ... Read the complete review

I am the first to admit that I am a creature of habit. Whilst I will embrace change when it is forced on me, I do not actively go looking for it. I am the sort of person that finds a product I like and will continue to use it forever and a day. The only way I will try something else is if I am given a free sample to try, someone else buys me the product for me or the product I want is not available and I have to find an alternative. Running out of shaving gel one evening I was forced to go to a Tesco Metro to get some more. The choice in the Metro was limited to say the least and the only shaving products included a number of different types of foam ... Read the complete review

I first received this particular brand of shaving gel as part of a gift pack for Christmas coming bundled with an after shave moisturiser. For years I had used the cheap and cheerful shops own brands believing them to be very good, but after trying this there's really no going back again. The gel comes in a relatively large can and only needs the smallest squirt to lather up enough to cover the average beard area adequately. The gel is lightly scented though I cant actually place of what, maybe it's just soap. Either way the gel is particularly kind on my skin which can be very sensitive to such things. The gel works particularly well and encourages ... Read the complete review

First off, let me say that I hate shaving so anything that takes the pressure off shaving is always a godsend. Shaving is one life's more pointless creations along with periods, wasps and Jim Davidson. When I stumbled on this last year, I was dubious as I associated Nivea with products for women, but I was pleasantly amused. The test: After a good wash in warm water to open the pores and soften the beard, you need to dispense a small blob of this onto the palm of the hand. The gel comes out clear and with water begins to lather up very well. I found it lathered better than the Gillette gel. Applying to the face is easy enough and then the ... Read the complete review
