Admittedly cleansing wipes are not my favourite method of cleansing. I like to use a cream wash off cleanser followed by a toner, however sometimes time is of the essence and in these situations cleansing wipes are ideal. As these are not a product I use daily, I don't really have a preferred brand and tend to just grab whichever ones are on offer, which is how I came to purchase Nivea's gentle cleansing wipes. The wipes come in a baby pink coloured plastic packet with a re-sealable sticky label on the top. I must admit special offers aside, the pink colour did draw me in! These wipes are especially for dry and sensitive skin, which is what I have, ... Read the complete review

I love using facial wipes as they are so much more handy to use then normal make up remover, and these ones are especially good! I bought them from Boots, they come in a pink packet and you get 25 wipes in a bag and they are very easy to use. The lid is resealable to stop the wipes from drying out. All you do it take one out and simply use it to wipe your face! They dont only remove make up but also purify and tone the skin, giving you a really flawless look. This comes after repeated use. One thing I find with some face wipes is that they really dry out your skin, and sometimes make it sting or sting your eyes. These are really gentle on the skin, ... Read the complete review

Generally I am not a big fan of cleansing wipes. I find they can be quite harsh on the skin and also I don't like the fact that I have to throw away the wipe after each use as this makes me feel like I am being wasteful. Even though the wipes don't take up much space in the landfill I supposed, they are still an unnecessary addition to our waste problems and cannot to my knowledge be recycled. However, having said that, I recently went on a sailing trip where water for washing my face was going to be at a premium. I needed some wipes and decided on the Nivea Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes because I generally like Nivea products and also I liked the fact that ... Read the complete review

These were bought for me a while ago and I only came across them while rooting through my beauty box. I am unsure of how much they were bought for but I have seen them for around the £2.65 - £3 mark at Home Bargains and Body Care. I have sensitive skin and suffer with acne so I always need to ensure whatever products I use are gentle and for sensitive skin. I have quite oily skin too. On the front of the packaging, it states these are for 'dry and sensitive skin'. They contain Aloe Vera, which is very soothing for the skin. They also claim to remove waterproof mascara and I have found this to be true but it is not always easy. The best way to ... Read the complete review

I keep a pack of makeup removing wipes in my bedside drawer for those 'can't be bothered' moments after a late night or when I've become a little too enthusiastic on my going out makeup. I've tried a few different ones but lately have been suffering a little dry skin so I opted to try the Nivea Gentle Cleansing Wipes for dry and sensitive skin. They set me back £3.22 for a pack of 20 wipes which was a bit more than I'd usually pay but as it's my face I didn't mind shelling out the extra. The plastic pack is a lovely dusky pink colour and is handy to squeeze into your handbag over overnight kit. It has a re-sealable tab on the top to keep the ... Read the complete review
