Niviea Lip care Pear Shine. Now i normally use Nivea lip care but i use the one in the blue packaging. But whilst trawling round the supermarket i spotted this lovely pink packaging. On reading the packet it said it left lips with a pearl shine... brilliant, i'll have some of that.

Comes in a pocket/purse sized container which you twist like a lipstick to use.

The stick its self is pink with a really nice shine to it and has a nice smell to it which i havent yet put my figure on what it is it smell of.

When apllied it feels quite greasy yet moisturising at the same time. The only problem i find is that it has an odd taste, kind of like soap and not at all like how it smells.

Now i dont usually wear lipstick and i find some lip gloss's a little too much for day time wear but this looks just right, a little shimmer against natural look make up works rather well.

It doesn't, however last long. I have a very bad habit of rubbing/biting my lips when concentrating and the poor o lip balm doesnt last too long.

When it comes to leaving lips soft, it works if used daily, if i dont use it for a week or so and my lips become dry and chapped, it doesnt help much as i find the pearl shine gets caught, for want of a better word, in the dry skin and makes it very obvious that you have dry lips.

Also another plus point if your partner, like mine, has an annoying habit of pinching your lip balm then he will soon stop once he accidently puts this on and looks o so shimmery!!!

It last quite a while too and provides, i think very good, value for money.
