I received a free sample pot of Nivea Soft through the post this morning. I don’t normally use moisturiser, but it just so happens that I have had a hideous cold for the past two weeks (not pleasant!) which has left my skin in a complete mess and is horribly dry and flaky (sexy I know!). So I welcomed this little pot of moisturiser as my skin is in real need of some life putting back into it. Apparently Nivea Soft is – “a highly effective moisturising cream for every-day use on face, hands, and body. Enjoy a fresh moisture boost as Nivea Soft absorbs immediately into your skin and leaves it sensationally soft, supple, and invigorated”. I tend to disagree ... Read the complete review

I tend to use a tinted moisturiser during the day, ideally one with a UV filter, but as neither of those things are particularly necessary when lying in bed at night, I needed to find something to slap on my face after washing at bedtime! My mum has been using Nivea Soft Moisturising Creme for ages, and is always raving on about how good it is (she won't use any other moisturiser now), so I decided to give it a go as my 'night time' moisturiser. This moisturising creme is very readily available - all the usual places such as Boots, Superdrug, local chemists and major Supermarkets stock it, and you'll quite oftern find it on offer at one of these ... I originally bought a small tube of this as I needed a hand moisturiser at work during the winter months. I suffer from really dry hands and I don't think the heating helps. I loved this product from that moment. It smells lovely (although slightly disturbingly my boyfriend said the first time I wore it I smelt like his granny who also uses nivea products!!). I find the consistency to be really good too. Its not too thick that it never rubs into your skin but is thick enough to feel like its doing something. I've had liquidy moisturisers in the past and don't ever feel like they do anything. I still feel moisturised in the evening if I've applied in the ... Read the complete review

I've been using this cream for years and find it is a really useful all-rounder as it can be used on the face, hands and body. The packaging: The cream comes in different packaging depending on the size you purchase, with the smaller version looking like the above picture and the bigger version packaged in a tub. As I use this cream a lot, I opted for the tub. This tub is white colour, making it easy to spot on my usually messy dressing table, and has a screw top lid. On the side, the 'nivea soft' logo is printed at regular intervals and on the top, there is the logo and some writing that says the cream contains jojoba oil and vitamin E. On the bottom is ... Of late I have found that my skin is looking under par, there are a lot more dry patches appearing and it just seems a little lack lustred. I use to use simple face moisturiser but this was not on a regular basis and when I had run out and wanted to buy some more, the shop did not have none, so I looked for an alternative and found it in Nivea Soft - Intensive Moisturising Cream. I don't have the skin of a 20 year old anymore, I am 32 and my skin is tired, through having not enough sleep due to two children, one of whom enjoys waking up at stupid o'clock, through the elements of our great British weather, one minute its hot, then cold, rain, wind, snow, my ...
