Advantages: Smells good and isn't greasy

Disadvantages: Can't think of any

Many years ago I used Nivea - the one in the darkish blue tub - I quite liked it but it was thick and left my skin greasy. However with all the new creams coming onto the market claiming to do miracles for my wrinkles I bowed to advertising and peer pressure (yes I should know better at my age!!) and flitted and flirted between various creams.

I wasn't completely happy with any of the creams I'd tried although I have to admit I never went for the very expensive ones. Some made my skin tight others irritated it.

I went on holiday a couple of years ago in a caravan and forgot to take my moisturiser with me. Funds being of a premium I didn't want to waste my holiday money on face cream .....soooo.... I bought my 1st tube of Nivea Soft.

I found it smelled nice, didn't irritate me or make my skin tight. It reminded me of the tried and tested Nivea of my youth but was so much lighter and soaked into my skin so easily. It wasn't greasy as the original Nivea had been. I use it all the time now and I have converted several of my friends to this cream.

Believe me - it is not a miracle worker - I still have lots of laughter lines. But my laughter lines feel moist and I am comfortable with my skin. I always carry a tube in my handbag and have a tub on my bathroom windowledge. I use it on my face, hands and generally all over my body. When I think what I could pay for a moisturising cream - I am satisfied with the £3.59 I recently paid for a 300g tub.

Summary: Cheap as chips and much better for your skin!!
