Advantages: An all rounder that can be used on your face, hands and body.
Disadvantages: If too much is applied, it can be a little greasy.
I've been using this cream for years and find it is a really useful all-rounder as it can be used on the face, hands and body.
The packaging:
The cream comes in different packaging depending on the size you purchase, with the smaller version looking like the above picture and the bigger version packaged in a tub. As I use this cream a lot, I opted for the tub. This tub is white colour, making it easy to spot on my usually messy dressing table, and has a screw top lid. On the side, the 'nivea soft' logo is printed at regular intervals and on the top, there is the logo and some writing that says the cream contains jojoba oil and vitamin E. On the bottom is a sticker which I just discovered can be peeled back to uncover the ingredients and some information about the benefits of the jojoba oil and vitamin E (jojoba oil provides the moisturisation and has a refreshing effect on the skin whereas the vitamin E helps protect the natural structure)
The price:
This is currently retailing in Boots for £4.59 for a 200ml tub and there is an offer stating that if you spend more than £10 on nivea products you get a free gift. However, it is only £3.06 on the superdrug website so it is best to shop around to get the best deal.
My experiences with the cream:
I like this cream as, when you open the lid, you are met with a luxuriously thick cream that has a nice, fresh fragrance to it. As I mentioned before, it is a great all rounder and I particularly like using it as a hand cream and face cream. My only moan about this cream is that if you are too generous when applying, it can make your face look a little greasy and shiny (though this may be because my skin is prone to shine anyway). For this reason, I prefer using this as a night cream and put some onto my face before I sleep, leaving me with soft, smooth skin when I wake up in the morning.
Overall, I would recommend this cream, particularly if you are going on holiday, as it won't take up a lot of room yet performs a lot of functions. If you place it in the mini bar fridge in your hotel room (or in your normal fridge at home) it becomes wonderfully cool and is perfect for refreshing yourself during a hot day.
Summary: A brilliant product
