What I liked about this product was that it does really absorb well into the skin, so it is easy to apply an even coating. I also like the fact that the product is fragrance free and is water resistant, so I could let the little one splash about in the paddling pool without worrying. I do ke...more

Like most new mums, I am a bit paranoid when it comes to protecting my little one. With the baking hot weather we had back in June (though difficult to remember back that far now as the rain is lashing down outside) I was very concerned about my baby getting sun burnt. SPF 50 might seem excessive to most people but as I have an allergy to the sun I have to wear very high protection sun cream once we get to the summer. I often buy Nivea sun creams because the versions I've had before have suited my skin really well but I have to admit I picked this bottle up by mistake! The Nivea Sun Children's Lotion with SPF50 isn't cheap, it cost me about £12.00 at the time (last summer) and I've just looked on Amazon and it's now £16.09 for 200ml. It's waterproof though and protects against both UVA and UVB rays. The item I was trying to purchase was the adult SPF50 cream which is in a very similar bottle. When I realised my ...  Read the complete review
