Like most new mums, I am a bit paranoid when it comes to protecting my little one. With the baking hot weather we had back in June (though difficult to remember back that far now as the rain is lashing down outside) I was very concerned about my baby getting sun burnt. My husband has very fair skin, and I have a feeling our little one has inherited his complexion. Having a Factor 50 therefore was absolutely crucial as far as I was concerned, but the first product I tried (Boots Soltan factor 50) was so gloopy that it didn't absorb into the skin at all - just sat on the top of it so my poor little babe looked like he had been whitewashed! The Nivea Sun Children's Lotion with SPF50 isn't cheap, it cost me about £12.00 at the time (last summer) and I've just looked on Amazon and it's now £16.09 for 200ml. It's waterproof though and protects against both UVA and UVB rays. The item I was trying to purchase was the adult SPF50 cream which is in a very similar bottle. When I realised my ...
