Are you sick of spending half your days applying sun protection? Well this is good news for you! Nivea Sun Light Feeling Lotion really is simple and easy to apply. This is a lotion rather than a cream which is good for those of you that suffer with greasier skin as it wont you bring you out in spots like many of the creams do plus it is easily absorbed into the skin. Its ultra light texture really is wonderful as its easy to spread over your skin and absorbs without too much effort. It leaves your sking feeling silky smooth like a moisturiser but doesn't leave a film on your skin that causes sand etc to stick to you. It is waterproof which means you ... Read the complete review

So who would of ever thought that people would be suffering from heatstroke during Wimbledon? It's great that we are experiencing so much lovely hot weather, but it is a bit unsettling as it's so unusual! Don't worry, I hear it's going to rain during Glastonbury, otherwise it just wouldn't be the same! It's very easy to get carried away with trying to get a natural tan in Britain when we see so little of the sun. I for one am not an advocate of sun beds as they can do so much damage to your skin and girls who wear fake tan just look totally ridiculous as they could give the Tango man a run for his money in an orangeness contest. But I do like to get ... Read the complete review

This is the last review in my trilogy of sun creams! Just to recap, and for those who haven't read the others, I have an allergy to the sun that brings me out in patches of itchy, painful blisters and through the months where the sun is shining I have to wear sun lotion in place of moisturiser and on any areas that are exposed. Although annoying and inconvenient it's something I've got used to over the years and it does put me in an excellent position to test if a lotion actually works or not. This Nivea Sun Light Feeling Sun Lotion is SPF 30. You can buy it in lower factors but factor 30 is what I consider to be as low as I can go at this time of year. ... Read the complete review

Now you will not need to buy this at the moment because despite the reports we do not have a BBQ summer. Unless you are lucky enough to be going to sunnier climates. If you are then this will be perfect for you. Packaging It comes in a blue container with a flip and squeeze lid. I like this as too many lotions have a screw cap which means you pour out a lot of unwanted lotion. With this you only squeeze out what you need and therefore do not waste any. The Lotion First of all it smells mint. There is nothing like the smell of a nice lotion and nothing worse than a pongy one. It also rubs easily into the skin and because it is from ... Applying sun lotion is my least favourite task, I hate the way it sits on your skin as a big greasy mess, making your skin horrible to the touch as you can literally scrape it back off where it refuses to absorb in. So having seen a couple of ads for the Nivea light feeling sun lotion and the Garnier equivalent, I thought they were worth investigating, I went to boots and put a bit off each on my arm, not expecting a lot to be honest, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Nivea one, it had sunk in really well, leaving a silky patch of skin that smelt lovely. It came with me on my holiday to Peru and worked really well, I didn't get sunburnt at all so I ... Read the complete review
