Applying sun lotion is my least favourite task, I hate the way it sits on your skin as a big greasy mess, making your skin horrible to the touch as you can literally scrape it back off where it refuses to absorb in. So having seen a couple of ads for the Nivea light feeling sun lotion and the Garnier equivalent, I thought they were worth investigating, I went to boots and put a bit off each on my arm, not expecting a lot to be honest, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Nivea one, it had sunk in really well, leaving a silky patch of skin that smelt lovely.

It came with me on my holiday to Peru and worked really well, I didn't get sunburnt at all so I assume it works equally as well as the traditional greasy sun lotions. It was a pleasure to use, it has the usual sun lotion smell but a little lighter and fresher, and absorbs in really well leaving only a slight sheen to the skin and a silky smooth feel. It also has a thinner texture making it easy to put on.

I will definitely be using this again, and am so glad I decided to try it rather than just picking up my usual brand without giving it any thought.
