I have a sensitivity to the sun. Summer is of course the main time I have to cover up however spring and autumn have at late made me uncomfortable. For years I was give a total block (factor 50+) by my GP and I thought I was doomed for a life with white streaks down my face, hair sticking to my face and being totally unable to just nip down to the shops or the pub before I would have to reapply. I decided to take a gamble and move away from the traditional factor 50 and try a branded version. Someone pointed out you should be able to see sun screen when it's on and that's true but there's a world of difference between this cream and the children's, this cream leaves a shiny sheen on the skin but no colour and the children's leaves a ghostly cream glow that makes you look like victorian ectoplasm! That's why I didn't use the children's one after one attempt. Is it just me or do all sun creams smell pretty much the same? I can't describe the smell, it's some sort of chemical I think. This is a fairly thick white lotion ... Read the complete review
