... moisturisers, in the past so had no doubt that it would be a safe product for my skin. I either use cotton wool or cotton wool pads that are more flat to get my make-up off. I don't personally like to use toilet roll because it goes all flaky doesn't it? I put a little puddle of this onto the cotton wool and then wipe my eyes first. I don't do it in a specific way or direction, I just rub them really. The first thing I noticed is that this doesn't sting my eyes at all! It takes three or four cotton wool pads to get the...more

Premium Review Nivea Visage Gentle Eye Makeup Remover: Great gunk remover.... (705 words)

Being someone who wears make up resembling Amy Winehouse (unintentionally!) I really can't live with out eye make up remover! Course I do use cleansing wipes and cleansers and toners being a make up fiend but I can't stand scrubbing my eyes and I find alot of cleansers and toners, no matter how mild they claim to be really do upset my sensitive eyes. Alot of the time I've took my make up off with cleanser and toner and missed some I couldn't see which was clogged into the root of my eyelashes and I've ended up with very bad eye infections. So now I use something gentle but effective and then used cleanser and toner as well and I find no more infections! I use ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Make up be gone! (442 words)

I don't wear that much make-up on my skin, just a little bit og blush on a typical day but I do wear a fair amount of eyeliner and mascara and sometimes some eye shadow if I have the time to apply it. I normally do get it off with water when I have a wash of an evening with a face wash but I ended up trying this because it is my daughters. I have tried other make-up removing products like wipes but I often find that they sting my eyes and you have to scrub quite hard to get the make-up off which can ends up leaving my skin feeling quite sore and red. You can buy much cheaper make up removers, I pay about £4.00 for this, but I bought one from ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nivea Visage Gentle Eye Makeup Remover: Panda eyes? Long gone with Nivea Visage! (725 words)

Nivea Visage - Extra Gentle Eye Make Up Remove I always find that my face wipes never fully remove my masacra. It is quite annoying to find that I have panda eyes in the morning and have to work doubly hard to get the black stains from under my eyes. I happened to see this in Superdrug and thought this might solved my problems. So did it solve my problems or do I still look like a panda in the morning? ...The Range... Nivea Visage do lots of different products but there seems to be two versions of the eye remover - a cream and a liquid remover. I bought the liquid remover. ...The price... I bought this from Superdrug for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Great gentle eye makeup remover - great for sensitive skin a ... (492 words)

By no means do I apply makeup with a trowel every day but I do wear a fair amount of makeup on my eyes and I also suffer with acne (although this is now controlled) so I always make sure that I take off my makeup every day properly, to avoid the build of grease and dirt which for me will inevitably end up as spots. I do have somewhat sensitive skin as well so I wanted to find something gentle and something which also did the job - Nivea Visage does just that for me. Not only is it good at removing eye makeup it's gentle and it's also pretty cheap - I usually get mine for just over £3. Yes you can get supermarket own brands cheaper but to be honest with makeup and skin ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nivea Visage Gentle Eye Makeup Remover: My Worst Makeup Removing Experience (383 words)
by - written on 08/11/08 (Very useful, 68 readings)

I bought some new mascara that was really good and made my lashes look great but it was hard to remove, so instead of using my normal cleansing wipe to remove the mascara, I thought I better get some eye makeup remover. I've always loved Nivea products so I thought I'd choose this. *Packaging* I really like the packaging of this product. It's just a small, blue 125ml bottle and on the front it clearly explains what the product is and what it does. On the back the ingredients are listed. *Using The Product* The lid was easily removed and all you have to do is pour some of the liquid onto a cotton wool pad (or normal cotton wool). Then the ...  Read the complete review
