Premium Review Nivea Visage Light Moisturising Day Cream: Does what it says on the tin! (344 words)

I've been using this cream as my day to day moisturiser for about four years now and I wouldn't be without this product! I used to use a Boots No. 7 moisturiser, but they changed their formula and their new products didn't suit my skin at all. So I ventured away from No. 7 and picked up this moisturiser to give it a go. I have combination skin with oily bits and dry bits. Added to that, my skin is also very sensitive and prone to flair ups. This moisturiser is fragrance free, so it doesn't irritate my skin, light enough not to add to my oily skin, whilst providing enough moisturising for my drier areas. I find that this works well in the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Another Nivea product thats worth it's weight in gold (397 words)

I have to use a face moisturiser every day otherwise despite being a little oily the skin can feel dry and tight and look a little blotchy. I have to be careful with the type of face cream I use, if I use something too heavy it makes my spots and oilyness worse but if I use something not rich enough I have to apply it again later in the day, lately I've been feeling like I cant win, and I'm not a teenager anymore, I'm 30 and starting to see lines around my eyes! I used to use a face gel but now I'm getting on a bit I thought I need something a bit more grown up and nourishing, Nivea is a brand I know and trust so I chose one of the lighter face creams. It's ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nivea Visage Light Moisturising Day Cream: Light? Well, not quite! (710 words)

When it comes to face creams, I have a problem. My skin is dry but I've been told that I also have a very thin dermis (the top layer of the skin). This means that anything that is thick will only absorb so much and then start pooling up on my face. Not using a cream doesn't bother me for the most part, but when the weather gets cold, sometimes my face feels tight. So with the onset of winter, I thought I would try a light moisturising day cream to see if this was still the case, and this Nivea Visage was my experiment. I chose this because Nivea is a name brand I trust, and I believe their products have always been of a consistently high quality, at reasonable ...  Read the complete review

Although I am quite experimental when it comes to perfume, make up and hair care products Nivea is the only brand I seem to be able to use on my face without any problems. Even brands such as simple that are specifically for sensitive skin have left my face tight, red or blotchy. So for me this really is a must have. The packaging is not over complicated with a lot of useless information it is quite simple and at 50ml it is convenient for travel, weekends away and fits easily into my make up bag although I rarely feel the need to use again it during the day. The price is reasonable too for such a well known brand. I find it easy to blend in and ...  Read the complete review

This product is really great and 'does what it says on the packet'. The cream is light and non greasy and is easily absorbed into the skin, leaving your face feeling fresh and hydrated, particularly if you have areas of dry skin. As a teenager, in the past I have found it challenging to find a face cream that is effective for my skin, yet I find that in this product it is perfect in leaving a fresh feeling that is long-lasting, while enhancing the hydration and appearance of my face.
