I ignore this advice and use it both day and night to ensure my skin is fully hydrated. -Application- After taking off the lid, there is a faint smell of that lovely scent typical of the Nivea brand. Tipping the bottle so the opening faces downwards, I squeeze the sides gently to put some of the product onto my fingertips. I should probably note that the first time I did this, lots of the product came gushing out, which I had to u...more

One of my favourite moisturisers as a student on a budget was a formula sold by the company, Simple. And like the namesake of the company, it was a simple and quick formula that promised much and delivered. It lasted on the shelves of Pharmacies for five years before Simple took their excellent "shine free" moisturiser off the market. Peeved as I was, I went on the search for an alternative... As marketing goes I'm no stranger to the products offered by Nivea Visage for Men, but I've been disappointed largely by the claim on some of their range and the feeling that what I buy sometimes seems to be a feminised version just re-labelled accompanied by ...  Read the complete review

I bought this product when it was on special offer in Boots for about £1.80, and I was looking for a good moisturiser at the time, so it wasn't too much. I'd been using an Olay multi-radiance fluid for a while, and I wanted to try something new as I'd run out of it. I didn't want something too rich or oily, but I wanted an effective moisturiser, so I thought I'd give this one a go. -Packaging- The fluid is in a plain white bottle with a white lid that has a silver rim (this seems to be the general design of Nivea products). To get the fluid out, you have to tip it upside down and squeeze the bottle. I don't really like this because it takes a bit longer ...  Read the complete review

I first bought this product as I found my previous moisturiser (by Simple) was making my face break out with blemishes and didn't moisturise particularly well. Prior to using Simple products, I had used a really effective cleanser and moisturiser by Nivea. However as this was almost £13 for the day cream alone and I wanted something cheaper, the shelves of Nivea products were still my first stop in Boots. I was a bit bamboozled by all the choice, however I eventually settled on this Nivea Visage Oil Free Moisturising Fluid as it seemed to offer exactly what I wanted. -Packaging- The 100ml bottle comes packaged in a cardboard box as in the image above, ...  Read the complete review

I always spend ages choosing moisturisers, reading the back of boxes to find the ideal product for me. I have skin that requires moisturising, but I'm also prone to blocked pores. In addition to that, I like to have a matte complexion and daily protection from the sun. I'm also on a tight budget and stick to reasonably priced brands. As a result, trying to a moisturiser with all of the desired qualities can be time-consuming! I found Nivea Visage Oil-Free Moisturising Fluid in my local branch of Boots. It cost a reasonable £3.72 for 100ml. I felt this was good value for money as even a 100ml bottle or pot of moisturiser usually lasts me at least 6 months if not ...  Read the complete review

I've always had trouble finding any sort of cleanser, moisturiser or even a simple wash for my face as I have very sensitive skin. I had slightly bad skin when I was a teenager and it wasn't until I stopped using facial products that I realised it was mainly due to what I was putting on my skin. When I went travelling last year I took no make up or cleansing products with me and my skin was completely spot and blemish free. However, when I came back and began using facial products again, my skin flared up. Since then I've tried quite a few different brands and products but with no luck - they all seem to have the same effect of making my skin worse so I eventually ...  Read the complete review
