Advantages: cheap, smells nice

Disadvantages: doesn't absorb and leaves an oily surface behind

I used Nivea Visage Q10 for a couple of years, it was inexpensive and my skin seemed to like it. I used to buy mine from an ebay shop for about £3 a jar. That's alot more reasonable than the shops, the last time I couldn't get any on ebay I bought some in Superdrug for £6.99 which still isn't alot but I prefer the bargain £3! The jar is 50ml I think, and oddly for such a cheap moisturiser is made from white opaque glass not plastic.

The cream itself feels soft and light and smells lovely, a fresh fragrance. It used to go on easily and provide excellent moisturisation but I found one problem with it.

I don't know if they changed the formula or if my temperamental skin had just had enough of it but suddenly it didn't absorb at all and I was left with an oily sheen on my skin after applying.

I've got quite dry skin so this surprised me and the oily sheen it left behind made my make-up seem to literally slide off my face within a very short time.

I continued with it for a few more months while experimenting with other creams and not liking them but it just wasn't right for me anymore, I didn't like the fact my face and neck always felt oily and not moisturised so as soon as I found another moisturiser I did absorb well I switched.

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, I don't personally know anyone else who uses Nivea Q10 but I recently tried it again with a bit I had left to see if my skin had been the problem and it still didn't absorb.

I couldn't recommend it.

Summary: In the early days I would have said I recommended it but not now
